Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato, a popular pop star and a judge for the X Factor, recently revealed to E! News' Giuliana Rancic, a unique spiritual experience she had as an 11-year-old girl attending church.
Lovato had gone through a period of rehab after eating disorders and serious drug abuse. However, the celebrity shared how she had overcome such hardships. When Lovato was 11 years old, she witnessed people talking and praying in tongues at her church. Though she was initially surprised by the experience, a lady beckoned to her while she was still talking in tongues. She said in her interview with Rancic that the lady said that God had told her she will become a hero of thousands.
At these words, Lovato began to have great ambitions, and she shared that that was what helped her through her period of hardship. The pop star was known to share her faith to others and has a cross tattoo on her.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Lovato had this to say: "I'm not super religious, but I grew up Christian and I believe in God." Though she also said she did not like talking about her faith in LA because of judgment, nevertheless the singer was not afraid in declaring her Christianity.
