After making an appearance on TLC's three-part special, "Jill & Jessa: Counting On,' fans have been requesting for Jana and Jinger Duggar to return to television and star on their own TV special.
Despite being the eldest Duggar daughter, Jana remains unmarried and is yet to have a courtship while her two younger female siblings have already entered marriage and motherhood.
Now, following the increasing demands of Duggar fans, it has been speculated that Jana, along with Jinger, could be appearing in their own reality series and would focus on the sisters' journey to finding love while staying in their religious home.
Jana admitted that the past months, which highlighted her brother, Josh Duggar's scandals, had been a great challenge for the family and had also led to her having trust issues.
In dealing with romantic relationships, Duggar patriarch Jim Bob previously opened up why her eldest daughter has not yet decided to settle down with a particular suitor.
"Jana is one of the prettiest girls in the world and one of the sweetest girls," Jim Bob told People Magazine. "There have been a lot of guys who have been interested in her, I have gone to hear about each one, and so far she hasn't felt that is the way the Lord is leading."
Meanwhile, "19 Kids and Counting' viewers were captivated with Jill Duggar's engagement and marriage, leading to high ratings for the family series. It is then likely that certain viewers will look forward to Jana and Jinger finding love, especially since both sisters have not created finding social media accounts through which they can provide updates to their followers.
Although TLC has not yet made an offer to Jana or Jinger, the sisters' fans have reportedly been sending emails to the network as an attempt to bring on more specials or a completely new series about the Duggar family.
"Jill & Jessa: Counting On' attained decent ratings since the large clan has been taken off the air for months now. Numerous fans simply want to watch the family as they carry on with their lives, particularly after the controversies. Taking the Duggars off air because of Josh's offensive acts was a decision that is believed to be unreasonable by many.
Jinger already opened up about the troubles that had put a strain on Josh and Anna's marriage, sharing praises about her sister-in-law.
"Anna is amazing," Jinger said during her appearance in the TV special. "She displayed to each one of us to what it means to have unconditional love and she is walking through this better than anyone of us could have ever imagined."
