Anna Duggar has been dealing with a lot of trouble this year, which mainly involve her husband Josh Duggar's molestation scandal in May as well as his cheating scandal that was revealed three months later.
However, as Josh's cousin Amy Duggar opened up to Us Weekly, the mother-of-four is said to be tougher than what she chooses to show in public.
"She's good," Amy said, referring to Anna, who is looking after daughters Mackynzie and Meredith as well as sons Michael and Marcus while her husband undergoes treatment in an Illinois rehabilitation center. "I talk to her a lot. She's doing good. She's strong. I wouldn't be handling it quite the same way."
The 27-year-old former reality star has kept mum since her spouse was reprehensibly associated with the adultery website Ashley Madison this past summer.
Anna also remained by Josh's side through his previous predicament this spring, when it was revealed that he had "inappropriately touched" five young girls (including sisters Jill and Jessa) during his teenage years.
The Christian couple celebrated their seventh year of marriage this September. A source close to the Duggar family claimed that Anna's parents believe that Josh's actions are not exactly justifiable grounds for divorce.
"They won't encourage a separation," the insider said, describing the thoughts shared by Anna's parents concerning the possibility of divorce. "They think she should work it out with him."
As for cousin Amy, the newlywed recently exchanged vows with Dillon King in Bentonville, Arkansas and had paid a visit to Cancun, Mexico for their honeymoon.
The couple returned in the middle of September and shared numerous memories from their trip, although Amy mentioned that there will not be any little bundle of joy yet for the couple.
"There's no honeymoon baby," she admitted. "My cousins asked me when I got back "” they were like, 'Are you pregnant?' And I was like, 'Uh, no.' And they looked shocked"¦ [We're] definitely not planning anything, not anytime soon."
Sooner or later, Amy said she would also want to be a mom. For now, though, she is simply enjoying her time as a wife. While she believes that her spouse will be "an awesome dad," she is still taking much pleasure in spending time with their little cousins, making her feel that she is "not missing out."
When she and Dillon are ready to have children, Mrs. King would not want to follow in the footsteps of her aunt Michelle and uncle Jin Bob Duggar, who have been raising 19 kids all in all.
