Jessa Duggar-Seewald and husband Ben graced the Southern Women's Show event in Orlando with their presence, regardless of the controversies surrounding the Duggar family.
Their appearance comes after the parents-to-be also attended a Southern Women's Show in Charlotte, North Carolina last month where they shared about their experiences in marriage and their preparations for welcoming their first child.
It had also been Jessa's first public appearance following his brother Josh Duggar's recent infidelity issues and rehab stint.
According to an observer, the audience at the Orlando show was egged on to ask the Seewalds questions about the 22-year-old reality star's pregnancy and how they have been prepping up to become first-time parents. Questions about the couple's wedding ceremony and their cherished experiences of being married were also asked.
"My favorite thing about being married is getting to share every day with my best friend," the mom-to-be replied to one of the questions.
Ben also added to his wife's response, saying: "Now I've got a companion a friend -- someone to share an evening meal with -- she comes to work with me sometimes. ... It's great, I just love it."
Although he was reportedly uncomfortable around the media, Jessa's spouse further gushed about the time that he crossed paths with his wife.
"The first time she walked in the room that I was at her church or something, and I turned around," the 20-year-old said. "I felt like there was like this light. The door opened. She came gliding in, holding her little sister's hand, and I was like, 'I think an angel just walked in the room.'"
Meanwhile, Jessa and sister Jill Duggar-Dillard are expected to return to TV with a couple of new specials on TLC. The two siblings will be the focus of such projects as Jessa preps up for her first child while Jill is kept busy with her mission work with husband Derick and son Israel in Central America.
"What we will be following in these specials is Jessa is preparing for her first child," TLC Executive Vice President and General Manager Nancy Daniels stated. "We'll be watching Jill preparing to make a major move to Central America with her family which we know is something our audience will be interested in."
TLC cancelled the family's reality series "19 Kids and Counting' after Jim Bob and Michelle's eldest son's molestation scandal was revealed to the public; he also admitted that his victims included his sisters Jessa and Jill.
As for Josh, he is currently staying at a Christian rehab center in Rockford, Illinois after it was revealed that he had subscriptions for the adultery site, Ashley Madison, and the 28-year-old former reality star himself admitted to pornography addiction.
