Terrence Howard's own empire has grown once more as the "Empire' star welcomed his fourth child, Qirin Love Howard, last month, as the actor recently confirmed to Access Hollywood.
"He's beautiful and strong and a whirlwind and my wife is so happy," Howard shared of his experience of having a new baby boy, who is named after the qilin, a mythical Chinese creature.
The actor and his wife Miranda have already divided up baby duties, with the "Hustle & Flow' star covering the night shifts as he lets his wife sleep.
"She has to be up with him all throughout the day. I wasn't born with boobs, I've started growing some recently," he joked.
Howard also explained how his other half nurses baby Qirin during the day, hence the need for him to pull night duty and make use of what he jokingly refers to as "pre-pumped breast cheese, whatever you call it."
The 47-year-old actor is already a father to Aubrey, 21, Hunter, 19, and Heaven, 17- his kids from his first marriage. Meanwhile, baby Qirin is the first child for Howard and Miranda, who exchanged wedding vows in 2013.
After a rap performance in January, Howard took some special time to announce that his wife was pregnant.
Later on, the couple attended the Oscars in February, where the mother-to-be was spotted with a growing baby belly.
Meanwhile, star power continues to dominate "Empire' as guest stars for the second season have been announced.
Chris Rock, Alicia Keys and Lenny Kravitz have signed on to make appearances on the hit series next season, Fox confirmed. Whether the three music artists will be portraying themselves or other characters is yet to be announced.
Led by Howard and Taraji P. Henson, "Empire' season one had its own star-studded list of guest appearances that included Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Estelle, Jennifer Hudson and Courtney Love.
Aside from welcoming new guest stars, Fox also announced that the second season of "Empire' will have an additional six episodes compared to its debut, thus a total of 18 episodes.
