The latest celebrity to put in his two cents on the entire racism debacle involving WWE wrestler Hulk Hogan is none other than "Fast and the Furious" star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. While he admitted that the behavior of Hogan "disappointed" him, the "Hercules" star went on to say that the public has been misled - that is, the Hulkster is definitely no racist.

"I've known Terry (Bollea) for years," The Rock shared, according to Deadline. The WWE superstar further noted of the relationship Hogan has with his family and how misinformed the people have become with regard the latter's stand on race-related matters. The "Fast and the Furious" star added, "My dad help trained him in Florida in the 1970s, and even my uncle. I come from a long line of professional wrestlers. I didn't know to be a racist."

In an attempt to brush off the hostile remarks Hogan uttered during an intimate moment with Heather Clem, The Rock pointed out that those kinds of private conversations are typical for normal people as the former WWE Hall of Famer had been ranting to someone he thought he could trust. The "Ballers" star said, "It's one of those things where it's not definite in terms of what he said." He added, "We've all talked trash. He said what he said, and he's paying the price."

Hogan has been "paying the price" for his actions since the issue came to light. Amid a legal battle against the media outlet Gawker, the former WWE superstar even suffered from further disgrace as the company where he spent the majority of his professional life announced that Hogan's name in the WWE Hall of Fame will be deleted due to the scandal. As if the decision to do so is not enough, all information of the Hulkster's wrestling career had been scrubbed off clean from all media outlets of the WWE - bringing to mind the same course of action taken by the company when Chris Benoit was found to have murdered his own family before taking his own life.

Prior to the comments from The Rock, Brooke Hogan's dad issued his own statement regarding the matter. "Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation," the Hulkster shared via PEOPLE Magazine. He went on to say, "It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it."
