For fans of Square Enix's most famous RPG, new updates reveal that the Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae demo will include new gameplay features that RPG fans will surely love.
According to a report by Siliconera, details from game magazine Famitsu reveal some of the gameplay features that will allow players to experience when the Final Fantasy XV demo comes out.
In the feature, the Duscae area is a wide region that is composed of mountains, plains and hills. Players can roam around the highly quality game world, and they may even find caves. According to the report, the caves offer hidden treasure and other good items. However, there is a catch.
The caves reportedly have stronger monsters than those found outside the caves.
Another interesting feature is the 'experience storage' feature. In the next installment of the Final Fantasy franchise, experience can still be gained by hunting monsters or finishing quests in the open world, but they won't be made available until the player reaches a camp.
Within the camp, the player can then use the 'stored' experience points.
For RPG fans who love other things to do aside from killing monsters and leveling up, Final Fantasy XV also offers cooking skills. Using different ingredients, a player can use his cooking skill in order to brew or cook food that will grant a character or the entire party with special boosts.
Like other RPG games that involve cooking, the ingredients for cooking can be purchased from merchants, while others can only be acquired by killing certain monsters.
Finally, players of the demo will be able to fight the Behemoth, which is among the strongest foes in the game. In the report, the player will need to look for the monster's hideout, clean up some monsters along the way, and then face the boss.
Similar to other Final Fantasy games in the past, players can revive fainted characters provided that there is still a character that is currently alive, or has the revive skill.
According to the report by Siliconera, the Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae is currently under development and will hit the Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles in the next several months.
But for die-hard Final Fantasy fans, or just players who love the RPG genre, the FF XV: Episode Duscae demo will be released once Final Fantasy: Type-O gets released in North America on March 17, March 19 in Japan, and March 20 in Europe.
