Gal Gadot Reveals Wonder Woman's Superpowers

Wonder Woman

Israeli actress Gal Gadot cannot help but be impressed by emotionally and physically strong women characters, and DC's Wonder Woman is one of them.

A lot of people are curious just how powerful Wonder Woman will be, and if any of her amazing powers will be shown during her Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice cameo.

Gadot shared some of her character's superpowers in an interview with YNet: "She has unbelievable endurance. She is exceptionally strong. She can jump really high and practically fly. She knows tons of martial arts styles."

As for her character, Gadot describes her as a strong and serious woman.

It is safe to assume that there will be a lot of rigorous action and fight scenes in the upcoming DC movies, but Gadot is more than prepared for it. She has had "very intensive" training in preparation for her role, but the actress loved every minute of it.

It was because Gadot was a real tomboy growing up, so training to be physically fit was a very enjoyable experience for her.

Her own daughter, on the other hand, cannot be more different than Gadot. When she sees her daughter wanting to dress up like a princess and put on lipstick and makeup, Gadot says it "surprises" her.

When she asked her mother if she was just the same as her daughter growing up, her mother disagreed. All Gadot wanted to do was to "play ball, sweat, and scrape my knees," according to her mother.

Looking at Gadot, it's hard to picture her as the tomboy type, especially after seeing her all dolled up as Miss Israel in a beauty pageant. But the actress is really more of a tough chick than a girly girl since she even spent time as a fitness instructor for the Israel Defense Forces.

Even before the DC movies are shown, the battle has actually already begun for the Wonder Woman actress since there are some people who are unhappy with her slender figure and even called her names.

Many believe that Wonder Woman should have more shape and have bigger breasts, but Gadot does not mind the criticisms at all, saying that these are merely "empty talk."

Once again, she drew inspiration from strong women. "The true amazons had one boob so it won't bother them in their archery. So it's not going to be like real amazons. We always try to make everyone happy but we can't," she simply said.
