Images of what Samsung's rumored Galaxy Tab S2 may look like have been leaked online.

Aside from the leak, a different report revealed that Samsung has accidentally confirmed the existence of the rumored flagship tablet.

The leaked images were obtained by Steve Hemmerstoffer of the insider tech news site Nowherelse.fr, according to 9to5Google. Based on the images, the upcoming tablet will have a 4:3 aspect ratio, which is similar to that of the Apple iPad.

In addition, the leak showed-off the larger version of the Galaxy Tab S2 with a 9.7-inch display with a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. The smaller model, according to various sources, will sport an 8-inch screen. Both versions will come with a Super AMOLED display.

Tech Radar noted that based on the images, the upcoming tablet from Samsung will be encased in a metal frame and will feature a home button that may also function as a fingerprint sensor as well.

Rumors suggest that the face of the tablet will feature a 2.1-megapixel camera. The other side will house an 8-megapixel rear shooter. The tablet is also expected to run on the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and will be powered by Samsung's 64-bit Exynos chipset.

It will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded with a microSD card.

Although Samsung has not yet officially unveiled the Galaxy Tab S2, the company accidentally confirmed that the rumored tablet exists through an update for the Hancom Office Hshow 2014 app, according to Sam Mobile.

According to its changelog, the app, which comes pre-installed in Samsung's Galaxy devices, will be included in the Galaxy Tab S2 as an out-of-the-box feature. Although this cannot be considered as Samsung's official introduction, it confirms that the Galaxy Tab S2 is nearing its launch.

Sam Mobile predicts that the Galaxy Tab S2 will be introduced by Samsung next month. It will be available in Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi with LTE variants.
