Hit TV series Game of Thrones has gotten so big that seemingly crazy things have happened.

For one, GoT fans are very much aware of the formual, "R + L = J." Not only that, there is also a theory that Tyrion is not Lannister. If you think you're ready for some serious GoT spoilers, then read on.

1.    Jon Snow's real parents' identities do not lie in the R + L = J equation

We hate to break it to you, but it may be time to let go of the R + L = J formula as early as now, so as not to break your sanity even more. We have been led to believe that before Lyanna died, she asked Eddard to look after Snow and claim him as his son to keep him safe.

George R.R. Martin once said that there is no character on GoT that is entirely good or entirely evil. So, while it is very unlikely for Eddard Stark to cheat on Catelyn, well, it might have actually happended. Hence, there is a good chance that Snow's real mother is Lady Ashara or perhaps Wylla, the wet nurse.

And speaking of Eddard Stark...

2.     Eddard Stark is alive

We were led to believe that Stark losses his head after he was accused of treason, which is an unforgiveable offense. But guess what? Eddard Stark lives, at least according to a theory.

A Forum of Ice and Fire members have claimed that good old Eddard is still alive, based on the book series. In the same series, Catelyn said that Eddard's bones were not how she expected them to be, while Sansa did not recognize his face when he died.

3.   "Hodor" actually means something

We know that Hodor is a simple-minded man whose loyalty belongs to the Starks and, who does not utter any word but "Hodor."

According to the books, Hodor's name is actually Walder. That is the reason that rumors suggest that the fact that "Hodor" is his default response to everything can mean something.

Fans claim that the character has close ties to winter and darkness, and that his name came from Hod, the Norse god.

Watch Hodor at his best here.
