The upcoming 57th Annual Grammy Awards is sure to wow the crowd with the presence of music stars on and off the stage. This year, more than 30 music artists will be performing on awards night.
Most of the songs to be performed remain unconfirmed but what is known is that there will be numerous collaborations among musicians of different genres.
Being a big night for the music industry, the audience can expect solo performances from Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Usher, Madonna, Pharrell Williams, Eric Church, AC/DC, Sia and Miranda Lambert, among others. Beyonce may also take the stage for a "Selma' tribute.
Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney are to perform "FourFiveSeconds' on stage for the first time. Rihanna has bagged a nomination for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration with Eminem for "The Monster.'
West has also earned not one but two nominations - Best Rap/Sung Collaboration with Charlie Wilson and Best Rap Song for "Bound 2.'
A live collaboration between Sam Smith and Mary J. Blige is also expected at this year's Grammys. Smith's debut album was released last summer and has earned a whopping six nominations - Album of the Year, Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Pop Solo Performance.
Ed Sheeran will be performing twice onstage - one with John Mayer, Herbie Hancock and Questlove, and the other one with Jeff Lynne's ELO. Sheeran has been nominated twice as well for his album "X' (Best Pop Vocal Album) and "I See Fire' (Best Song Written for Visual Media), which was featured in "The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug.'
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin will also perform with Beck. Beck's "Morning Phase' earned a nomination for Album of the Year and Best Rock Album. His track "Blue Moon' is also nominated for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance.
Coldplay also bagged nominations for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their "A Sky Full Of Stars.' Their album "Ghost Stories' is also nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Music Film.
Grammy nominees Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga are also up for a live collaboration. They were nominated for their song "Cheek to Cheek' under Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.
Irish musician Hozier will team up with Annie Lennox, who has already won four Grammys in the past. Hozier is nominated for Song of the Year for "Take Me To Church', Lennox bagged a nomination for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for "Nostalgia."
Jessie J will share the Grammys stage with the legendary Tom Jones. She has been nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Bang Bang", thanks to a collaboration with Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj.
The 57th Annual Grammy Awards will air on February 8, Sunday, at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
