Meanwhile, another snap showed Luddington, McKidd, Alder, Sarah Drew and Jesse Williams doing their best sultry post in front of the camera.
"They are all still awesome. Without changes the show would never have lasted this long as many characters grew stagnant. Keep it up 'Grey's!' Love it! Keep those twists and surprises coming!," another fan, @Deb Tollefsen Hervey, stated in the comments.
While the current "Grey's Anatomy' cast members had been occupied in posing and taking photos, former co-star Patrick Dempsey has moved on from his medical scrubs to returning to the big screen for "Bridget Jones Baby.' The actor shared how he felt "invigorated" after going through such change.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Dempsey opened up about exiting the medical drama after almost 10 years on the series and making his way back to the big screen to play Bridget Jones' newest love interest in the franchise's third installment.
"It all happened very quickly," the 49-year-old actor told EW, describing his experience of bagging a role in "Bridget Jones.' "It completely reinvigorated me. I've enjoyed it immensely, getting back into something that has a beginning, middle and end."
Dempsey also revealed that the slower pace of being involved in a film and taking his time to become familiar with a new character has allowed him to enjoy the circumstances.
"It's a completely different approach," he shared. "With "Grey's,' you're just grinding it out. In this instance, you take the time to get through things."
Although the father-of-three admitted that it was a difficult decision to say goodbye to "Grey's Anatomy,' he also believed it was the proper time to move forward.
"I knew it would be heavy like that," he said. "I'm very happy to have moved on to a different chapter in my life."
"ABC's "Grey's Anatomy season 12 is set to return on Feb. 11 while "Bridget Jones's Baby' makes its way to theaters on Sept. 16.
