Lionsgate has unveiled the new trailer for the highly-anticipated "The Hunger Games' "Mockingjay- Part 2', starring Jennifer Lawrence.
The actress recently shared an exclusive look at the final installment as the award-winning actress took to Facebook and shared a special photo with the caption: "6.9.15 #MockingjayPart2 #Unite."
Looking into the clip, certain details are catching the attention of both book and movie fans. Wedding bells for Finnick Odair (Sam Claflin) and Annie Cresta (Stef Dawson) have been set after reuniting together, putting all missions on hold as the couple and their close friends celebrate a wartime marriage ceremony.
The new trailer also brings hope to Katniss-Peeta fans as the two are seen hugging each other while the former shows a healthier state compared to the last time that he was rescued from the Capitol.
Lionsgate also released the new "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 2' poster, which undoubtedly suggests that more trouble is in store for President Snow (Donald Sutherland) now that Katniss and the Rebels are taking the necessary preparations to wage a full-blown war with the Capitol.
In their final stand against the terrifying President and his trap-filled city, "Mockingjay: Part 2' shows Katniss leading their team of rebels to arrest Snow while striving to survive from being ambushed. The Capitol transforms itself to an arena, similar to that of the Games, filled with violent creatures, soldiers and traps.
Director Francis Lawrence has opened up about the upcoming "Mockingjay- Part 2' film; he believes that it is more action-packed and will remind audiences of a war movie as compared to the first part.
Katniss will also be teamed with her closest friends, such as Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick, and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), while going on their mission with the rest of the unit from District 13.
In terms of Katniss' relationship with Gale, the actress opened up about wanting to see them develop an even stronger bond. She believes that the duo has a strong history together that was not intensely explored in the films.
The Oscar-winning star also stated that Gale remains to be the only individual in the story who truly understands the person that Katniss really is.
Other cast members who will be reprising their roles include Julianne Moore as President Coin, Woody Harrelson as Haymitch, Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket, Natalie Dormer as Cressida, Jeffrey Wright as Beetee and Willow Shields as Primrose Everdeen, to name a few.
Fans can also look forward to new cast members, such as "Game of Thrones' star Gwendoline Christie as Commander Lyme and "True Blood' actress Michelle Forbes as Lt. Jackson.
