According to a report by GSM Arena, popular golden devices maker Goldgenie has announced its latest creation - an iPhone 6 that is covered with 24-karat gold.
The Golden iPhone 6 will boast all of its internal features, and the overall design, but the materials used is almost pure gold. In the report, Goldgenie plans to offer the device on a very limited number - just 99 units.
In the report, the Golden iPhone 6 will set buyers back for a whopping £2,637 for the 64GB version. Meanwhile, for people looking for more storage, the 128GB version of the 24K gold iPhone 6 will cost £2837.
Aside from the golden casing and design, the Goldgenie version of the iPhone 6 also comes with a unique goat design that is laser engraved in the case. The design is attributed to the Chinese Year of the Goat. Officially, the golden smartphone is named iPhone 6 Elite Year of the Goat Limited Edition.
In addition to the goat design at the back of the iPhone, the entire smartphone package is made from a luxurious 'Cherry Oak' finish box.
According to the report, in spite of the eye-popping prices of its golden devices, Goldgenie still manages to sell well to its target market - very rich people. In several devices made by the Chinese company, the consumers are not even wary if the phone is already dated or more than a year old in terms of its presence in the market.
Apple's iPhone 6 is reportedly breaking records in the mobile industry, and has sold millions of units in the past five months.
