Jeremy Lin, the well-known Christian NBA star revealed through a questionnaire given to him through his fans via Facebook that he too as a Christian struggles with sin like all believers do. He shared on Facebook that his greatest sin was pride.

"I'm not humble. Pride is [the] greatest sin I struggle with," he wrote on Facebook. "But I'd say as I get older, go through more experiences in life and face tougher obstacles, I realize that I'm more sinful and need God more than I ever imagined." He noted that there is a chance his fans may believe him to be more humble than real life after finding out about his Christian faith.

Jeremey Lin, now 25 started his NBA career with the New York Knicks in February 2012. He caught the attention of basketball fans when he managed to score 25 points lead the Knicks to a 7-win streak. He caused sports columnists and celebrities to bring up the phenomenon they called "Linsanity" after Lin became the first player in NBA history to put up at least 20 points and 7 assists in each of his 4 starting games.

Later that summer Lin was traded to the Houston Rockets where he was forced to keep the bench and averaged around 28 minutes per game. Recently he was traded again to the Los Angeles Lakers where he expressed that he is excited to begin a new chapter in not only his basketball career but also for his Christian faith.

In an interview with the New York Times, Lin noted that he is not going to try to re-start "Linsanity". "It's definitely been an up and down year for me. When I look back on the past two years, I think I've grown and learned a lot as a person, as a Christian and also as a basketball player."
