Amy Duggar has been making headlines since she and fiancé Dillon King announced their engagement. Although she was initially featured in "19 Kids and Counting" as the more "liberal" cousin of Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald, the niece of Jim Bob Duggar has become part of the family and its antics. Up until recently, Amy Duggar has been seen in the background but her social media posts in relation to her upcoming wedding continue to cause an uproar among the netizens.
Ever since she started posting updates regarding her upcoming wedding, critics of the choices made by Josh Duggar which led to the cancellation of "19 Kids and Counting" kept hounding Amy Duggar to the point of completely obliterating the entire purpose of her social media posts: her romantic relationship with King. In a recent post, however, it appears that Amy Duggar has had enough from the online bashers who do nothing but bring up the issue involving Josh Duggar even in the most unrelated social media posts in her account.
"I have my faith in God," wrote Amy Duggar, responding to yet another Internet basher who commented on her fun photo which featured two of her dogs. The niece of Michelle Duggar of "19 Kids and Counting" fame added, "The whole entire family is crushed, I'm mentally worn out!" Amy Duggar could only be referring to the news involving Josh Duggar and the entire "19 Kids and Counting" clan which pertained to the inappropriate behavior of Jim Bob Duggar's son.
Amy Duggar went on to write, "My savior is my everlasting rock and what someone else does, and the choices that someone else makes (even though it makes me furious) it doesn't fall on me, on my future marriage or my personal relationship with Christ."
The entire "19 Kids and Counting" family faced harsh criticism from the public when news broke that Josh Duggar admitted to sexually molesting young girls during his teenage years - two of which are her own sisters Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald. This news caused the cancellation of "19 Kids and Counting" by TLC and resulted in a documentary collaboration by the network, several crime prevention organizations and the Duggar family themselves. The documentary is titled "Breaking the Silence."
Before the issue died down, however, Josh Duggar's name once again resurfaced in the media as one of the registered users of the cheating website called Ashley Madison. The "19 Kids and Counting" star then went public to apologize to his friends and family members after admitting that he did have an extramarital affair while his wife Anna Duggar had been pregnant. At the moment, Josh Duggar is reportedly checked in a rehab treatment facility to deal with his issues.
