Justin Bieber has been known to be romantically linked to a number of ladies in the past. While the parade of women in his life seem to be never ending, it looks like the "What Do U Mean?" singer has yet to truly commit to one and establish a serious and committed romantic relationship. As fans and followers of the Canadian singer would be highly aware of, the only widely publicized and recognized romance of Bieber was the one with former Disney star Selena Gomez.
"I haven't been in a relationship for a while now," admits Bieber in an interview with Kyle and Jackie O. The "Where Are U Now" singer goes on to say, "I'm chillin', just hanging out and being by myself." While this statement might be contradicted by the numerous of Bieber with a bunch of different girls, including Hailey Baldwin and Kendall Jenner, the ex-flame of Gomez is adamant on his denial that he has not been in any romantic relationship for quite some time now.
Pointing out that he is a "relationship type of guy," Bieber went on to say that he cherishes spending time with a significant other. He admits, "I love to be in love." Bieber goes on to share, "And I love cuddling. I love all that stuff, but I got my heartbroken, so I'm just trying to let that heal up." Although Bieber did not directly single out Gomez in his response, a number of fans and followers of the former couple, lovingly dubbed as "Jelena," assumed that the pop star is still pining for the former Disney actress.
Meanwhile, it looks like Bieber is not the only guy pining for Gomez. In a recently released short clip of Nick Jonas' latest single, titled "Area Code," fans also noted that the lyrics may have been direct responses to the words of Gomez's "Good For You." According to Billboard, the lyrics of "Area Code" that fans believe are directed at Gomez's single include ""You say I never been good for you / You can't deny I gave it good to you."
It could be recalled that prior to dating Bieber, a brief romance blossomed between Jonas and Gomez - presumably due to their involvement with Disney at that time. The two eventually broke up and went on to pursue romantic relationships with other people - Gomez dated Bieber for years, while Jonas was with Miss Universe queen Olivia Culpo for a long time as well.
With both artists now single, fans of the former Disney couple are wondering whether a reunion might be in store. As for the chances of Bieber, it looks like Jonas could easily edge him out of the competition since Gomez appears to be in friendly terms with the former Jonas Brothers crooner.
