Justin Bieber has had a bumpy road to getting back the trust and confidence of his fans and followers. Years of questionable behavior and bad choices have finally taken a toll at the Canadian pop star when he almost ended up in jail while overseas. Apart from the jail time he almost served, the former flame of Disney star Selena Gomez also aggravated a number of people with his rowdy parties and countless mischievous acts in public.

However, Justin Bieber eventually turned his life around and began to mend broken relationships. The ultimate sign of his repentance came when he volunteered to be part of the Comedy Central Roast where comedians took pot shots at him one after another while the Canadian pop star stood onstage and rolled with the punches. From then on, Justin Bieber has been granted by the public a clean slate to start over and make amends.

"I just want to be around people who I feel are supporting me, uplifting me, and making sure I'm the best version of myself because there are so many people in this industry who just want to keep seeing me fall," shared Justin Bieber in an interview in the Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, according to Us Weekly. He added, "It has to be on you. You have to make the conscious effort, because for me, so many times it was good people coming in my life and tugging at me, but I wasn't ready."

Justin Bieber went on to disclose, "They're like, 'Justin, come on.' But I wasn't ready to take that leap and be like, 'Okay, this is what I want to change, this is who I am, and this is not who I am.' It takes moments of clarity to be like, 'Oh, that's why I'm not like this. That's why I shouldn't do this.'"

At this point, Justin Bieber is poised to release his newest single, titled "What Do You Mean." A month ago, the Canadian star started a countdown until the release date of his album via Instagram, according to BBC. However, this was not an ordinary countdown as Justin Bieber had all sorts of celebrities and members of the public participating in his Instagram idea. The list of celebrities who helped promote the "What Do You Mean?" single included Britney Spears, Ryan Seacrest, Little Mix, Kendall Jenner, Jaden Smith, Larry King, Kate Hudson and Miley Cyrus.
