In time for the Mobile Word Congress next month, leaks for a series of new phones from Lenovo have surfaced. The mobile device manufacturer is clearly prepping up for a massive year, especially with five phones reportedly to be unveiled at the upcoming exhibition this March.
This array of Lenovo phones includes the Vibe S1, Vibe X3, Vibe P1, Vibe P1 Pro and Vibe Max. These phones are expected to show a shift from Lenovo's typical plastic designs to a sleek, layered metal body.
First up is the Vibe S1, which is likely to appeal to younger consumers as it comes in fun, vibrant colors such as pink, purple and light blue. It will reportedly come with a high-quality front-facing camera but no specifications have been announced yet.
More specific details have been found for the Vibe X3, which will feature a 5.5-inch display that will provide a 1080p resolution. It will also come with stereo speakers that have been enhanced with a Hi-Fi 3.0 software package.
Aside from a metal frame, the Vibe X3 features a fun back design and a fingerprint sensor located below its rear-facing camera. This snapper is said to come at 20.7 megapixels, although it is still unconfirmed at this point.
From impressive camera features to longer battery life, Lenovo also puts the Vibe P1 forward and incorporates a 4,000mAh unit into the smartphone as well as quick charge support.
The Vibe P1 will reportedly be covered with nano ceramics coating and powered with a 64-bit octa-core CPU. Ruuning the Android 5.0 Lollipop, the phone is also said to come with 2GB of RAM within a MediaTek chipset and will support 4G LTE networks.
For more impressive battery features, an upgraded version of the Vibe P1 will be unveiled, known as the Vibe P1 Pro. Aside from a 5,000 mAh unit, the smartphone will also come with a fingerprint sensor and may have a display size of roughly 5.5 inches.
Finally, Lenovo will also be introducing the Vibe Max that will come with a 5-inch full HD screen , a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 chipset and 3GB of RAM. This device will also be called as the Vibe Shot, which will likely be unveiled at MWC next month.
