NBA All-Star Game 2015: East vs West Preview, Schedule & Where to Watch

NBA All-Star 2015

The stars of the Eastern Conference and Western Conference will collide in the highly anticipated 2015 NBA All-Star Game on Sunday at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The annual All-Star Game, which features the 12-best players in each conference, will take place in New York for the first since 1998 - the same year Michael Jordan played in his final All-Star Game an 17-time All-Star Kobe Bryant made it into the star-studded affair.

Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James will look to lead the Eastern Conference squad to a second consecutive victory over their Western Conference counterparts, and the four-time Most Valuable Player and two-time All-Star MVP is excited to play in front of New Yorkers at Madison Square Garden.

"It's going to be the best All-Star Game for me, to be able to be in the Garden," James said via ESPN. "I love my fans back in Cleveland. I loved my fans when I was in Miami. But if I could have 82 regular-season games in the Garden, you know I would, because it's the Mecca of basketball."

James will start alongside hometown favorite Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks, Kyle Lowry of the Toronto Raptors, John Wall of the Washington Wizards and Pau Gasol of the Chicago Bulls for the Eastern Conference, who won last year 163-155 win after Kyrie Irving torched the West with 31 points and 14 assists.

On the other hand, Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry headlines the Western Conference squad and will start alongside Warriors teammate Klay Thompson, James Harden of the Houston Rockets, LaMarcus Aldridge of the Portland  Trail Blazers and Marc Gasol of the Memphis Grizzlies.

Aldridge, who was picked by Warriors coach Steve Kerr to start in place of injured starter Anthony Davis, is also looking forward to competing with his fellow superstars inside the Madison Square Garden.

"This is one of the cities that I think most guys look forward to coming to," Aldridge said. "It's a fun city. There's always a lot going on. It's the fashion capital. I think guys love coming here."

The 2015 NBA All-Star Game will kick off at 8:30 PM EST and will be shown live on TNT and through online live stream via TNT Overtime.
