OC Churches Announce New Leadership

The Orange County Association of Christian Churches announced their finalized 23rd team of leaders and directors along with their ministry plans for the year 2014. The group already had their inauguration service for the president and chairman of the board at Nachimban Church on December 26th the previous year.

Pastor Yong-Duk Park was selected director of the board, Pastor Yung-Min Eom as the trustee, and Deacon Yung-Su Kim was chosen to be assistant director of the board.

The OC Association of Christian Churches hosted a special service of thanksgiving on the 12th of January (Korean-American Day). The organization is about to undergo a number of seminars and training programs for all the minsters who are members of the organization.

On the 8th of February, the leaders will be inviting leaders of key Korean and Korean-American organizations for a special time of worship. In March they are planning to host a special prayer gathering which will be focusing on Korean reunification. In April, all the major churches in Orange County will be having a special joint early dawn prayer session in light of Thanksgiving coming up that month, and finally the group will be hosting their yearly "Blessing Night for Pastors' Wives".

Unlike previous years the association will be putting more emphasis on ministry targeting the younger generation. In July 19th and 20th, there will be a Christian teenagers' talent concert and a special award ceremony in August where next generation leaders will be receiving scholarships.
