The most feared news of One Direction fans might have just become a reality. The former X Factor contestants might be gearing up to pursue solo careers and the second one to get out of the band is Harry Styles. Following the departure of Zayn Malik, fans of the British boy band have been anxious over the future of the group. With the latest reports on Taylor Swift's ex, it looks like the time has come for the band to officially break up.
Reports are now surfacing that Jay Z is interested in grooming Styles as the next big solo artist. The husband of Beyonce, who has been known to provide guidance to a number of popular artists today, declared his desire to work with the One Direction member. While the rapper acknowledged that Simon Cowell will remain part of Styles' growth, fans are worried that no mention of the other members of the band has been made. Hence, this might spell the doom for the long-haired crooner's reunion with Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan.
"I would love to sign Harry," shared Jay Z, according to the Daily Star. He added, "Simon is going to want to carry on working with him, of course. But we could do a joint venture - we both have big qualities we can bring to the table. And Harry can make more than enough money for everybody to get a piece of the pie."
Jay Z is no stranger to creating big breaks for solo artists. Beyonce's hubby is behind the enormous success the likes of Shakira and Rihanna. Even Kim Kardashian's husband, Kanye West, owes his fame to Jay Z. With these in mind, it is entirely plausible for Kendall Jenner's rumored boyfriend to create an even bigger name for himself in the future.
"Harry doesn't need any help with exposure. Everybody in the world knows who he is. But he does need to make the transition from being part of a group to becoming an individual artist," said Jay Z. He added, "I can get him working with the bigger artists, the biggest producers - and have him as the biggest artist in the world within a year."
