‘Pirates Of The Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales’ Trailer: Johnny Depp Surprise Visit Children's Hospital, Patient Calls Actor "Pretty Cool" [PHOTOS]

Johnny Depp has once again proven that Captain Jack Sparrow is truly one of the most lovable characters among children and adults alike. Visiting the patients and their loved one in a hospital in Brisbane, Australia, the actor surprised everyone by waltzing in and delighting them in full "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" costume, according to ABC News Australia.

Tagging along with Depp in the surprise visit at Lady Cilento Children's Hospital was Stephen Graham, who also donned his costume as "Scrum." While Amber Heard's husband initially intended to keep the visit a secret from the prying eyes of the public, it appears that none of the staff, patients and family members present was able to hold it in. Mere hours after arriving in the area, photos of Depp and Graham's visit immediately went viral online.

"Two very famous pirates made a special surprise visit to the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital last night," Children's Hospital Foundation posted in their official Facebook account. They added, "Dressed in full costume, both Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow and Stephen Graham as Scrum spent over three hours making a real difference to sick kids and their families in hospital!"

The post went on to read, "Both actors flew in for the visit from the Gold Coast, landing in a helicopter on the hospital's rooftop as they took time out from filming the next instalment of Pirates of the Caribbean, Dead Men Tell No Tales."

The photos showed Depp regaling the children with stories - even humoring some by tying his hair under his chin to create a beard. "He tied a knot in his hair to make a beard," shared one of the patients, Max Bennett who described the actor as "pretty cool" and "funny." He added, "That was my favorite part." Max is suffering from transverse myelitis, which is "a neurological disorder caused by inflammation across both sides of one level, or segment, of the spinal cord," according to National Institute of Neurological Disorder and Stroke.

Rachel Bennett, Max's mother, shared that Depp took the time to visit the children who are not capable of getting out of bed and stayed with them for a bit. He also took the time to talk and laugh with other patients who went out of their rooms to see him. "He was taking his time to make sure he spoke to each and every one of them," shared Rachel. She added, "It was really beautiful. Everyone kept on trying to move him on, but he kept on coming back."

She went on to say, "He came on the condition that he wasn't pushed along and crowded by adults and he could spend as much time as he wanted with the kids." Rachel added, "He was here for the kids."
