Anna Kendrick from 'Pitch Perfect 2' is the latest addition to the 'Red Nose Day' inaugural celebration on May 21, 2015. She will be joining the movement as the female version of Harrison Ford's widely known character, Indiana Jones, according to Coming Soon.
The charity campaign is now participated on by Hollywood A-listers who are all determined to lend a helping hand to the cause. Red Nose Day is a movement that aims to raise funds "for children and young people living in poverty by simply having fun and making people laugh."
"The day's events will culminate in a three-hour entertainment TV special on NBC featuring the country's favorite comedians, musicians and Hollywood stars-it's a show not to be missed!" the site wrote. "The TV special will showcase top comedy and entertainment live and in pre-recorded segments. It will also highlight the issues for which Red Nose Day is fundraising. Viewers will be encouraged to make donations by phone, and online," it added.
Apart from the 'Pitch Perfect 2' star, the actors from the hit TV series 'Game of Thrones' will also be part of the campaign. These include Kit Harington, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Emilia Clarke, Iwan Rheon, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Mark Addy, John Bradley, Rose Leslie, Alfie Allen and Charlotte Hope. In a report from E! Online, the infamous Peter Dinklage even performed with the widely popular band, Coldplay, a number for the said campaign.
In a teaser clip, Dinklage was seen performing a musical sketch he co-created with Chris Martin and the rest of the Coldplay band members. Getting into his 'Game of Thrones' character, Tyrion Lannister, Dinklage went on to sing a song directed at her fellow cast members and might actually double as a spoiler for the upcoming episodes of the highly watched series. The video was posted in Coldplay's official Facebook page.
Dinklage crooned, "Remember Ned Stark / He was a lot of fun / But he didn't make it past season one!"
He went on to sing, "Robert Baratheon was part of that crew / But he never made it to season two / The King of the North was cool, you said / Another favorite that ended up dead!"
"You thought Joffrey had to survive / He ain't in the credits for season five," he sings. "Baby you know I'm the man for all seasons / Characters get cut for various reasons / Some people's parts just ain't very long / But not me, I'm still going strong!"
