Everyone's childhood science teacher Bill Nye the "science guy" (Planetary Society) and renowned creation scientist Ken Ham will be debating on the topic of whether creation can be considered a valid cause of life in the modern scientific community.
Dr. Ken Ham has is the founder of the popular Creation Museum which brought many believers back to the faith after their belief was shaken after being exposed to the ideas of religion. Through his book The Lie, Dr. Ham has stated that many Christians overlook the seriousness of evolution and how it is drawing many believers away from God.
Many church leaders have actually stated that God may have used evolution to create the world and the human race. Dr. Ham however stated clearly through his writings and seminars that Genesis must be taken literally in order to understand the omnipotence of God.
The debate which will be held at the Creation Museum in Kentucky will be streamed live through YouTube Feb. 4 at 7pm EST. The talk is expected to be viewed by many believers from within their church sanctuaries.
