Nintendo's "Super Smash Bros." is scheduled to get two new character DLCs added to its roster.
As for future DLCs, Nintendo is asking gamers for their feedback regarding which new characters they would like to see in the game, Cinema Blend reported.
The first DLC arriving for the game features Mewtwo, a fictional character from Nintendo's "Pokemon" franchise. The Mewtwo DLC will debut on April 28 for $4 per gaming platform. However, if the DLC is purchased for the game's Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions, it will have a discounted price of only $5, according to Game Spot.
In addition to the "Pokemon" character, Lucas, the protagonist of the 2006 role-playing game "Mother 3," is also set to arrive to "Super Smash Bros." as a DLC. In the third installment of the "Mother" series, Lucas is a young boy who uses his psychic powers to take on a hostile army.
Although Lucas already appeared in "Super Smash Bros." as a surprise character, the arrival of the DLC will permanently include him in the game's character roster.
Nintendo has not yet released an official statement regarding the pricing for the Lucas DLC but the update is scheduled to arrive sometime in June of this year.
Aside from these two, "Super Smash Bros." may get other characters in the near future as Nintendo has already set up a poll on the game's website asking gamers who they would like to see next, Forbes has learned.
Based on the poll, gamers will need to name the characters they're voting for and indicate the games they appeared in. They are also required to explain why their nominated characters should be included in "Super Smash Bros."
Nintendo noted that the poll is not based on an election system where the character with the highest votes or nominations will automatically be featured in the game. Instead, the company will analyze each entry and focus on the explanations provided by the gamers.
