The Winchester brothers are set to roll out into the highway in the fourth episode of "Supernatural' Season 11, titled "Baby,' which will take place entirely in Dean's (Jensen Ackles) treasured 1967 Chevrolet Impala.
"Seen entirely from the point of view of the Impala, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean go on a road trip to fight monsters and demons," the episode's synopsis states.
As pointed out by the show's executive producer, Jeremy Carver, who was the first to open up about the Impala-centered episode at the San Diego Comic-Con last July, the main subject of the upcoming episode is just one of the reasons behind his anticipation for 'Baby' to air this Wednesday.
"One of the fun parts about the episode is that it really investigates what it means to be living your life out of your car," the executive producer said about the concept of episode four, also stating that both the cast and crew members are "very excited" to share the fun scenes with "Supernatural' fans.
Carver also explained that this "Baby' episode was created to address certain events when the Winchester brothers set out to solve a case.
"There's those moments in the show where the boys decide to take the case and then we sort of watch the car go out into the distance and then suddenly they're in that town," he stated. "This episode takes the time to say what happened in the moment where they're actually driving to this town."
When it comes to details, series star Padalecki said that fans can look forward to a car-wash scene. There will also be a few more traditional "Supernatural' moments that should be expected, describing the episode to have been done in a very clever manner.
"We've had this third lead character for 10 seasons strong and, we're not revealing a personality, but we see just how much a part of the Winchesters' lives it is," the 34-year-old actor said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "[There's] a bit of everything: the obligatory Sam-and-Dean-talk-over-the-hood-of-the-Impala, or Sam-and-Dean-talk-in-the-Impala."
Padalecki's co-star, Ackles, also answered fan's questions as to what can be expected in this new season. When asked about their sibling relationship, Ackles shared his sentiments on how he perceives their characters to team up together as they fight off the same villain during a major apocalyptic event.
Comparing season 11 to past installments, the actor described the latest season as a "bit of a throwback to maybe season one or season two," when the siblings had less fighting going on and had often united to fight for humanity as a pair.
"Supernatural' Season 11, Episode 4 is set to air this Wednesday, Oct. 28, on The CW.
