As "Teen Wolf' season 5B is set to premiere this Jan 5, MTV unveiled the latest sneak peek for episode 11, titled "The Last Chimera.'
The five-minute video begins with a conversation between Hayden (Victoria Moroles) and her sister, Deputy Clarke (Benita Robledo). The deputy is clearly troubled that her younger sibling had been missing for days. Although she died and was brought back to life by Theo (Cody Christian) as shown in the midseason finale, Hayden told her sister that she merely spent time with Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) when she disappeared.
However, due to Deputy Clarke thinking that spending time with Liam was not a proper excuse for not sharing her whereabouts, she remains vigilant and keeps watch over her sister, such as staying with her to drive her to work.
While driving, the deputy receives a call from the Sheriff's Department and asks her to look into a building that is close to their present location. When the duo arrives at the site, Hayden sits it out and waits in the vehicle as the officer enters the creepy building.
As her inspects the location, Liam turns up in the parking lot and comes up to Hayden, who has not yet responded to any of his text messages.
"How could you not tell me that you're alive?" Liam asks.
"Maybe because you left me for dead?" Hayden responds.
While the couple wanted to talk about a lot of things, they realized that they have larger threats to address, such as the arrival of the Beast of Gévaudan- the new villain in season 5B.
While inside the building, Deputy Clarke comes across a dying man lying man on the floor. After he passed on, she figures out the probable cause of his death- a huge creature with sharp nails and fiery eyes. The Beast easily moves past her and goes after the couple outside the site.
In an effort to run away from the devilish creature, Hayden and Liam is shown jumping off a cliff.
However, it seems that the pair are not really the individuals that the Beast is looking for.
"The 'Clash of the Titans' is the hellhound (Ryan Kelley's Parrish) and the Beast. Should I have said that?" series writer Jeff Davis said in an interview with International Business Times last year. "It's very much what you see in the fresco in the Dread Doctor's operating theater. And essentially, the whole season is about Scott (Tyler Posey) and his pack and Theo and his pack getting caught between that [fight] and seeing if the city or town of Beacon Hills will survive it."
