The new face of Peter Parker, better known as Spider-Man now belongs to "In the Heart of the Sea" actor Tom Holland, and there is a lot of pressure thrust upon him especially since the web-slinging superhero has a pretty pivotal role to play in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

He will first make an appearance in "Captain America: Civil War" before venturing into his own solo movie. Standing beside the rest of the Avengers - Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man, Chris Evans' Captain America, and Chris Hemsworth's Thor, among many others, it is hard to imagine how the young boy will fare.

However, Holland strongly believes that his character will not be overshadowed by his fellow superheroes, and his story will be one that gets people hooked.

"I think one of the most interesting things about Peter Parker for us is that he's the only person in the MCU now that has a secret identity, so we all know who everyone else is. I think it's quite interesting to go back to that hiding behind a mask," he told Super Hero Hype.

Holland knows everything there is to know about the character he will portray, and he considers it a huge honor to play him on the big screen.

"I have always been a huge fan of Spider-Man, and growing up, I had countless Spider-Man costumes," he shared. "Only two years ago did I go to a fancy dress party dressed as Spider-Man. I had this awesome morph suit where you can put your phone on your chest and spiders would crawl across the costume, it was awesome! He's always been a big part of my life and a big part of boys' lives because everybody can relate to him."

Meanwhile, other stars of the MCU are offering some advice to Holland now that he will be catapulted to fame as Spider-Man.

Michael Pena from "Ant-Man" hopes that Holland would take after the original Spider-Man, which is Tobey Maguire. "I think it's just, like, being relatable. I think Tobey Maguire did an absolutely fantastic job where he just played like a regular guy and not some movie star," he said.

Another "Ant-Man" star Michael Douglas encouraged him not to overthink his role and just have fun with it. "You're with as good a team as possible," he said. "Enjoy the ride!"

"Guardians of the Galaxy" star Chris Pratt also had the same advice. "It's amazing and go with it. Get ready for the ride," he said.
