Everybody loves Daenerys Targaryen's dragons in "Game of Thrones," but Emilia Clarke, the actress who plays the mother of dragons actually prefers robots over the mighty winged creatures.
Clarke will also star as Sarah Connor in "Terminator: Genisys," and in the film, which will also star Arnold Schwarzenegger as The Guardian and Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese, she deals with robots instead of dragons, and she even develops such a close relationship with Schwarzenegger's T-800 that she fondly calls him "Pops."
When asked by MTV News whether dragons or Terminators are better, Clarke answered: "I don't know, because Terminators can do a lot of helpful things, you know what I mean? They're really good at carrying your shopping."
She added that she cannot even train her own dog in real life, much more tame Khaleesi's fiery dragons Viserion, Rhaegal, and Drogon. But Terminators are a different thing entirely. Even though they are killing machines just like the dragons, they manage to kill people without the need for messy fires.
"Terminators... he just kept killing everyone, and I had to tell him to calm down on that because it just gets in the way sometimes," she laughingly concluded. "But then the dragons will burn everything - you have to fireproof everything, it's a nightmare... fireproofing in a Dior dress sucks."
However, Clarke cannot help but admit how wonderful it was for her character Dany to finally ride Drogon for the first time in "Game of Thrones" season 5. In an earlier interview, she said: "It was cool. It was really cool. I loved it. I must admit, it was brilliant!"
She also dished out on the fate of her co-star Kit Harrington, who plays the ill-fated Lord Commander of the Night's Watch Jon Snow. During the shocking final scene of the season, Snow was stabbed several times by his brothers from the Night's Watch who repeatedly said, "For the Watch."
"Everyone I've spoken to is like, 'I don't believe that he's dead,'" Clarke shared. "And I'm like, oh, interesting. I would also like to believe that because I think it's wicked and shouted at them already for already killing him! I mean, technically he is dead, but..."
The actress did not reveal more, and only added that she remains "hopeful" that Jon Snow manages to survive that brutal attack. Harrington and show creators David Benioff and Dan Weiss, on the other hand, has insisted that Snow is indeed dead and would not be back for season six.
