Gal Gadot lands the cover of the August issue of FASHION Magazine and shares about her experiences growing up in Israel.
The 30-year-old actress, who served as a soldier for the Israeli Defense Forces within two years, also opened up about how military services prepared her for Hollywood.
The "Wonder Woman' beauty explained, "The army wasn't that difficult for me. The military gave me good training for Hollywood."
Military service is known to be obligatory for males and females alike over the age of 18 in Israel.
Gadot also previously shared that she made a more-than-satisfactory impression with her knowledge of weapons when she auditioned for the "Fast & Furious' franchise in 2008. After landing a role in the highly popular franchise, the actress was also able to perform her own stunts in three "Fast & Furious' movies.
The mother-of-one has also been prepping up to take on the leading role in the upcoming "Wonder Woman' film to be released in 2017. She opened up to FASHION Magazine about her anticipation to wear the greatly-coveted superhero costume.
"She is the ultimate symbol of strength. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd grow up to be in a movie playing someone who influenced as many women as she has," Gadot shared.
The former Miss Israel will also appear as the crime-fighting heroine in the highly anticipated "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' alongside Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, which is helmed by Zack Snyder and will be released in March 2016.
This will be the first time that Wonder Woman's character has been portrayed on the big screen after being in existence in the comics for the past seven decades.
The actress shared her sentiments on playing the well-loved character and said, "There are so many expectations for this character, it's impossible not to be a little nervous about it."
Gadot opened up about taking a liking to the learning process, such as "doing the swordplay stuff. It's another skill to add to my collection."
In 2008, Gadot exchanged wedding vows with businessman Yaron Varsano; the couple has a three-year-old daughter named Alma.
On maintaining balance between family life and career, Gadot shared: 'Nowadays being a woman is hard, because we have to be the best wife, best mother, best worker, best everything!"
The fashion model also offered encouraging words for other women who aspire to become their best.
"I truly believe we are more empowered. We're also stronger, sophisticated and can achieve what we want. That's what I would like my daughter to know," Gadot shared.
'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' will make its way to theaters on Mar. 25, 2016 while 'Wonder Woman' is set for a release on June 23, 2017.
