Director Zack Snyder drove the Batmobile from "Batman V Superman' to Comic-Con in San Diego, California on Saturday, July 11. Thousands of fans in the Hall H line who were waiting for the film's panel nearly lost their minds as Snyder hopped out of the vehicle and began tossing T-shirts to the crowd.
It was past midnight and most of the fans had been waiting for over ten hours for the panel of actors and director. The Warner Bros. panel began at 10:30 a.m. PT on Saturday. Snyder and actors Ben Affleck, Holly Hunter, Henry Cavill, Jeremy Irons, Jessie Eisenberg, Gal Gadot, and Amy Adams told stories and answered questions.
"We put Gotham and Metropolis right next to each other - it makes sense for us in our story that they're kind of sister cities across a big bay, it's like Oakland and San Francisco," said Snyder.
It turns out that Batman is not just traveling to Metropolis, he is practically Superman's neighbor. The city of Gotham has tension with Metropolis in "Dawn of Justice.' Snyder explained that the Bruce Wayne was in Metropolis in "Man of Steel' and he experienced the destruction of the city.
"Batman V Superman' hits theaters on March 26, 2016. The film stars Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince, and Tao Okamoto as Mercy Graves.
