The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria released another video to the international community which showed the beheading of their third victim. In the video, an ISIS militant was shown beheading British aid worker David Haines. Britain condemned this action and criticized the Muslim extremist militant group.
The video was very similar to the previous two which showed the execution of American journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff. The executioner, after killing the victim warned the Western world, particularly the United States to not interfere with the conflict taking place in Iraq and Syria. Just like the previous videos, the murderer spoke in a rather obvious British accent. He said:
"This British man has to pay the price for your promise, Cameron, to arm the Peshmerga [Kurdish] against the Islamic State. If you, Cameron, persist in fighting the Islamic State then you, like your master Obama, will have the blood of your people on your hands."
David Haines, the victim was also forced to read a statement before he was killed that went, "I would like to declare that I hold you, David Cameron, entirely responsible for my execution. You entered voluntarily into a coalition with the United States against the Islamic State just as your predecessor Tony Blair did, following a trend against our British prime ministers who can't find the courage to say 'no' to the Americans."
Instead of being moved by the video however, David Cameron, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom stated that the U.K. will continue to play its role in the fight against the Islamic State. He condemned those that murdered the British aid worker, who was serving at a refugee camp in Syria before he was captured by the Jihadists and stated that Muslim extremism is a threat to the world.
"It falls to the government and to each and every one of us to drain this poison from our society and to take on this warped ideology that is radicalizing some of our young people." the Prime Minister stated, noting that hundreds of British citizens have left their homes to join ISIS.
Meanwhile, U.S. President Barrack Obama talked of a coalition against ISIS that the U.S. will be leading, and last week 10 Arab countries had agreed to militarily assist the Western world in their fight against the Jihadists.
