The latest update unveiled by California-based publisher 2K Sports for its "NBA 2K15" adds new game play features as well as changes to the team rosters.
One of the notable changes featured in the update is the addition of Nate Robinson to the Los Angeles Clippers. This update is part of 2K Sports' efforts to make the changes in "NBA 2K15" more realistic, the International Business Times reported.
Days before the update was released, Robinson signed a 10-day contract with the Clippers on March 7. His arrival to the team reunites him with Doc Rivers, his former coach when he was still with the Boston Celtics.
Rivers noted that Robinson was drafted by the team because it needed an extra player, according to the Mater Herald.
Another roster change featured in the update is the inclusion of Glenn Robinson III to the Philadelphia 76ers. Robinson recently signed with the team after the Minnesota Timberwolves waived his contract, NBC Sports has learned.
Aside from the game's basketball players, the update also tweaked the movements of characters based on their real-world counterparts. Their injuries were also taken into account through the new "NBA 2K15" update.
Other minor details were also included in the update. For example, the left arm of Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James is now covered with an arm sleeve and his wristband was changed into a rubber band. Also, the shoes of Memphis Grizzlies shooting guard Vince Carter were changed to the Nike Hyperdunk 2014.
The attributes of characters in "NBA 2K15" were also updated based on the current stats of their real-world counterparts.
"NBA 2K15," the latest installment of the "NBA 2K" franchise, was released in October of 2014. It is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows platforms. The game can also be played using Android and iOS mobile devices.
